Enjoy the sights of Bendigo’s architecturally stunning CBD from on board the sensationally restored vintage Class tram #610, while being serenaded by two great acts.
Luke Harrington had an early start playing at Bendigo Blues & Roots Music Festival when he was only 11, and he has learned a few tricks along the way from all amazing artists he’s gotten to work with in the years since. Having now come into his own as a solo artist, Luke is now attacking the festival circuit and live music scene generally with a new found love and drive for hard electric blues and rock. Raw and powerful but with a soulful bent to his vocals and guitar playing, he flows between his old classic covers and new originals and his set is one you simply have to catch sooner rather than later.
Melbourne singer/songwriter Hannah Acfield has been leaving audiences throughout the country awed with her versatile voice that has the ability to sing soul, blues, folk and gospel.
A talented musician who is adept and versatile, her experience as both one half of the folk duo “The Acfields” and as a solo artist continues to inform Hannah’s art, making for an earthy and yet authentically soulful experience.
Hannah’s highlights include: Winner of Music Managers Forum Australia Songwriting Competition (2012), Semi Finalist in the International Songwriting Competition (2019), Highly Commended in the QMusic Awards (2016), MusicOz Finalist (2010, 2012) and #65 in the 4ZZZ Hottest 100.
2021 will see Hannah release her new album, recorded at The Aviary with some of Melbourne’s best musicians.
Acfield will warm your heart and open your soul.
